This interactive workshop, hosted by the Youth Aviators Society and Uşaqlarımıza Öyrədək in collaboration with Extreme Hangouts at COP29’s Green Zone, explored the future of sustainable aerospace—from green aviation technologies to space exploration.

From the official COP29 listing: Participants delved into the latest green tech, public engagement strategies, and practical approaches to reducing aviation and space impacts on the environment. Through expert-led sessions, attendees gained insights into current challenges and opportunities, followed by an interactive activity fostering collaboration and innovation.

Youth Aviators’ extended scope: Mentors guided youth in active participation and knowledge-sharing, ensuring attendees left with tangible strategies to build a more sustainable aerospace sector. By the end of the workshop, participants walked away with actionable steps to contribute to greener aviation, space exploration, and the roles various stakeholders, corporations, and the public can play in shaping the future.
